Oddly, I hate these cups but we seem to end up with tons of them. Our zoo sells them. In fact, I think a good portion of our come from the zoos across the country. You also find them at amusement parks like Disney and Hershey. I think we have one a T Rex restaurant in Orlando.

I don't have an answer to your question, but I think it's funny that you mention Flanigans. We have two cups from there also.

Ditto on Tervis Tumblers. Love them and they have a lifetime guarantee and are BPA free.

Actually, it's a scoop of protein powder, 8 oz of coffee, a squirt of sf vanilla syrup, a dash of half/half and a heaping scoop of ice, but thank you for trying to be helpful!

Thank you pps for the site and the specific cup names. I'm checking them out.

We have a set of large plastic cups that I picked up at a department store a while ago, I would look there when they start setting out the summer stuff.

I once ordered a case of these 32 oz cups after the one I got from a bakery in Arizona was ruined in the dishwasher (thanks DH). Split the case with my mom (we both drink iced tea by the gallon) and gave some away. Unfortunately it looks like the minimum order has been upped to 500.

Probably the dumbest question to ever grace DCUM forums, but here goes:

Are there any area chain-y type restaurants that serve drinks in the reusable large 32 oz plastic cups?

In Florida, Flannigan's and Quarterdeck use them. (These happen to be the two in my current collection. ) They're printed with their name/logo on the cup, and made to be kept by the customer. I've tried BWW & Hooters, to no avail. I'm not a big fan of "basket food" so I hate to keep trying places and hoped maybe someone on here knows what I'm looking for.

Trashy, I know, but I love these cups! They are the perfect size for my large morning iced protein/coffee drinks. They don't condensate like glass. They're not super thin like the ones from the gas station, nor too thick. They're juuuuust right.

TIA!
