Starbucks on mid-Wisconsin will reopen once the big Giant development is built. It will be good to have Starbucks back, but the new one will be more of a "walk-to" store. The old Starbucks had a parking lot behind the store, with an entrance from Wisconsin. The new development will have one underground parking garage under the Giant, with no parking on the block where the Starbucks was, so it will be less of an "in and out" Starbucks than before.

It is a cute place but I wonder if it will stay afloat?

Brand new place called Hawthorne Market, right next to Jetties/Something Sweet, has good coffee. Also, a juice bar, smoothies and sandwiches. Great addition to the neighborhood. Emphasis is on healthy, organic and locally grown foods, so I doubt you'll smell bacon there.

Sadly along Wisconsin you have to go up towards Tenley or down towards Glover Park now. Unless you want to sit down at Cafe Deluxe.

I go to the one in Bethesda. I, too, love the Nobadeer. I want to try the carmelized butternut squash, roasted portobello, herbed goat cheese one, but I am having trouble deviating from the Nobadeer!

I love the smell/taste of greasy bacon, too....

Mmmm... bacon.

Never been there, but isn't Something Sweet right near Jetties? Or are they IN Jettie's? Doesn't SS have coffee and muffins?

You sound really mad. Calm down. You're gonna blow a gasket. Just go down the street a bit and there's another Starbucks in Glover Park. You'll be okay.

Jetties is a sandwich shop. Their Nodadeer is the best sandwich I've had in my life.

What's the deal with this place? I just went in hoping to sit down with a coffee and muffin, and it stank so horribly of grease (from bacon?). I really thought I was going to throw up. I got a coffee and hastened out if there, but now my coat stinks of grease. WTF?

Now that the Starbucks is gone, is there any good place to get a coffee in Ckeveland Park along Wisconsin??
