Just be sure to stop in Germany first to get your visa. Or maybe the German embassy here can issue you one.

When we went to Greece a few years ago, we made a big loop: Delphi-Meteora-Olympia-Mycenae-Naxos-Athens.
This was a 12-day trip, but for kids who are into ancient Greece, I'd skip Meteora and Naxos. Maybe substitute a different island with more ancient ruins to see and stay fewer days (we spent 4 days on Naxos).
We found that it was quite easy to get around Greece in a rental car, which we picked up at the airport and dropped back off before taking the ferry to Naxos.

I think of honeymoons when I think of Greece and I have never been so I am clueless as to how to plan a great trip to Greece that relates to Percy Jackson. Ideally would love to do some swimming as well. Any ideas for an 8 day itinerary?
