I believe by around the age of four most outies NOT due to an umbilical hernia become innies.

DS1 has an outie. DS2 has an innie. Technically they are called "umbilical hernias" so your ped might pay attention to it at routine well checks, looking for any knots in the vicinity but they're nothing of concern.

I have twins. One is an innie and always has been. The other had a slight belly button hernia and is an outie and forever shall be.

My 2-year old has an "innie." I think it was completely in by 1 year, maybe earlier.

Yes, I am a FTM. Yes, this is a ridiculous question. Please indulge me!

do all or most toddlers have "outtie" belly buttons? just wondering if my outtie toddler's belly button will become an innie one day?!
