That is what they plan to do but I'm not sure where it stands at this point.

Did the interview with DC today. Something off there, can't put finger on it. A little disjointed, and they couldn't answer some questions. Most importantly, no one seemed bowled over with enthusiasm about anything in particular. Student who lead the tour wish they had lockers (they really don't!). Visiting Wilson next.

My child is having a better time than friends at walls, but not as great as friends at ellington
As the parent, I think I would still have preferred walls, but those kids are really seeming to be stressed

How does your child like Wilson? It seems rare that we hear of kids who don't really like Wilson, but there are kids who struggle at Walls or complain and transfer. I wonder if Wilson will offer an IB track for all of the IB Deal kids flooding in.

BTW, first the child goes in to be interviewed alone, then parents/guardians go in for a few minutes

They will narrow down the pool, I am one of the interviewers, so don't take it as a sure shot that your kid will get in. As a school, we will be accepting 130-140 freshmen, and interviewing 175 or so. Those 130 spots may be filled tomarrow, or we might go back and look at others who might have not done as well on the test, but might be a better fit in the long run.

Not nervous...but...is this interview more of a formality or will they actually narrow the pool still further after this?
