I rip out, print out, scribble, etc and then put into photo albums with the sticky sheet pages - you know, the kind where you peel back the plastic sheet, stick the "whatever" to the page, and put the plastic back? Easy to clean, easy to move around, etc and I can replace recipes that I tried/didn't like, never used, etc. No worries about "standardizing" my method of gathering, as long as it's smaller than 8.5x11.
However, I am tempted to scan/type and store them all on my kindle. My only concern is that the kindle (as does other devices) will sleep after a certain length of time, which means I'd potentially be digging at the wake-up button with a butter-covered finger or whatever.
