OP here - pretty embarrassed about the Sarah Palin vote. I figured she would just be attending funerals like the rest of the Vice Presidents, but still, you're right to call me on that one. I was having very favorable thoughts about Romney until he jumped on what I felt was a non issue - the contraceptive controversy. Again, I was wincing when he up there striking the pose for religious freedom. I just didn't respect him for that at all.

Not OP but she didn't vote for Sarah Palin. She voted for John McCain. PP's comment is just ignorant. Did all Democrats vote for Joe Biden in the last election? I doubt it.

I wanted Huntsman, then Romney, now I'm probably not going to vote if Santorum wins.

I regularly read a military intelligence blog by a man who seems to be a fairly moderate Republican (are there any left?). I think he will end up voting for Obama. Not because he likes him, mind you. He doesn't. But because he's terrified of what the Republican ticket will likely offer.

OP - you would vote for Sarah Palin but not for one of the current candidates? And isn't it too early to be making the decision? Seems to me it makes a difference if its Romney or Santorum or someone else entirely.

OP here, YES, that is exactly how I feel. I am pro choice, and I would like to everyone have equal rights (including gay marriage), so I am having a hard time not wincing with embarrassment when I watch the Republican debates. My husband is so entrenched that he insists that anyone is better than the current President, but I just don't feel that way at all. I am constantly going to Politifact to fact check these people, and it just seems so hopeless. At least the President is a good man trying to do what he promised even if I don't agree with him on every issue.

Obama's the only rational candidate in the field. I prefer my president to be rational.

I am a life long conservative and have voted straight Republican for the past 30 years. However, this election, I am leaning seriously towards President Obama. Is it just me???
