Listen to Pandora... make a few stations. You can make as many as you want and it's free.

Put these artists into your first Pandora station and it will come up with others like it. Then you can filter what you like and what you don't to customize it further.

Sleigh Bells
MGMT
Vampire Weekend
Wild Flag
The Sea and Cake

Others, people? I'm just coming up with these of the top of my head. I try to keep up to speed but it doesn't always work.

Listen to 99.5 if you want to know what your 13 year old is listening to.

My DH and I have been seriously out of touch with music for the past five years or so (except for Rocknoceros, etc). We had friends over recently and I was so embarrassed about our very dated "entertaining" playlist. I like our mello/loungey playlist for dinner parties, but need some ideas for hip songs/artists to listen to over beers. We are open to many genres - just would like to try something new. We'd appreciate any ideas you might have - thanks!!
