Liberal democrat living in DC with fairly high HHI ($370k), who knows Jewish Northerners. Oh but I didn't even read the abortion thread. I have two preschool aged kids. Is NW DC urban enough or do I need to stop posting? And i am originally from a state out West that has the craziest conservatives in the nation.

We have users from all over the country, indeed all over the world. However, the focus of the website is DC and the areas close in. DC, Montgomery Country, and PG County are all very liberal. Arlington Country and parts of Fairfax and Alexandria are also liberal. I will concede that white conservative males are not well-representated on DCUM. However, I will also argue that white conservative male voices are not representative of the area and are generally over-represented in our discourse in any case.

This is your problem, OP. Quick take a look up at the top of this page, I'll wait. Ok, did you see the part where it says "DC" ? Now how about just to the right of that where it says "Urban" ?

Sure, it has expanded, but at its heart and core DCUrbanMomsandDads was created forrrrrrrrrrr .... Urban people. In DC. Who are overwhelmingly liberal Dems.

The white version isn't particularly religious; the AA and Hispanic version self-identify as more religious in their census forms.

Maybe look for a Fairfax-y kind of parenting board?

From reading the opinions I have concluded that most on here are 80% liberal, high income and from the abortion thread mostly jewish northerners that moved down here for better house prices and jobs.

It would be interesting if a poll cold be conducted. The voices on this board do not represent the population of our area.
