Okay the coincidences of Anacostia, Takoma and Eastern is worth an investigation Washpo.

Takoma Education Campus had a fire just over a year ago--speculation that it was caused by work on the roof.

I hope this is a result of a construction accident and not due to students inappropriate behaviour. Also, I hope the firefighter is okay but that it does not open up a can of worms regarding shoddy construction.

Eastern had a fire on their roof while the school was under construction. Again, thanks Jeff.

Now additional units have been called. Apparently, the wind is reigniting materials on the roof.

I've been watching this develop on Twitter and it's looking pretty bad. According to Bill Turque, everyone was evacuated from the school with no injuries. However, according to the tweets from firefighters, one firefighter fell through the roof and was injured. It's a two alarm fire with the second units just arriving.
