I would check to see if any of these therapists have time -- when I requested Zucker, I was told she wasn't taking new patients. In fact, I couldn't get an appointment with any of the therapists at Alvord in the Rockville office except in the middle of school day.

Raggi was fabulous with my DS. Bonnie Zucker has a great reputation. I don't know the other two.

Hi there,
I'm considering the following therapists for my 10 year old with significant anxiety. He also has behavior issues and is gifted but I think dealing with the anxiety will be a good starting point. He is also in a lot of emotional pain from a recent move and school changes so he needs someone to share his feelings and get support. Here are the names I'm looking at: Jessica Samson, Lisa Sanchez, Bonnie Zucker, and Veronica Raggi. Please let me know if you know anything about these people. Or if you know of other therapists that would fit the bill, with emphasis on anxiety, that would be great to hear. Thanks.
