Kids loved it and they were engaged all day. Just a few things to consider - swimming is everyday so you have to bring home wet clothes and dry clothes every day...in addition to you providing your child(ren) lunch and snacks. There are some camps that include lunch and snacks in the price.

We have had great experience with the Lowell camp and I highly recommend it.

We did Lowell last summer- both kids (rising K and rising 2nd grader at the time) loved it. Very nurturing, especially for the younger kids. There was a great mix of scheduled fun things to do, and also time to just do what they wanted to do. I would highly recommend it.

Does anyone have any experience with Lowell's summer day camp?
I am thinking about sending my daughter who will just be turning five.

This is our first day camp summer and the process and choices are a bit overwhelming.
We would like a camp in the DC area where our daughter will learn how to swim.

Constructive input welcome!
