How do you know those tablets are made under sweat shop conditions, too?

Screen rez is pretty much my only pet peeve. I feel dumb for getting my name engraved on the back, which I supposed make re-sale almost impossible...
Am I crazy or would anyone else upgrade when you already have a 2?
You must be new to this sort of thing. You don't "upgrade". You very generously purchase a second iPad so that you can pass on your current iPad to another family member. Whether another family member wants it or not is only of secondary importance.
Editing to add, it is due to just this sort of generosity on my part that we have enough hand-me-down iPhones that even our dog has her own.

When I try to get it back from him he claims that he's working on his sight words and math facts (and sometimes it's even true). So I want and iPad 3. BTW, I did have ours engraved. I thought it was fun and it's free. We never re-sell our apple products. But we do have a little apple graveyard including the original iPod. . . . not sure what to do about that.
