OP here--The reason I think it is not up-to-date is because some schools have pre-k 3, but it is not listed on the database. Ross, for instance. So, I just thought I'd ask the friendly folks here on DCUM for a little help before selecting a potential school for my kid.
I am working with Early Stages, but I would like to do some research on my own first.

If your child works with a speech therapist - are you working with Early Stages. If yes, they will work with you to place your child AND your child will be guaranteed a spot as opposed to going through the lottery.

Where on the website are you looking, and what makes you think that it's up-to-date? If you go to http://profiles.dcps.dc.gov/ and click on PS under "grade level", you get a list in alphabetical order. You can narrow it by wards, too.

I'd highly recommend Barnard (DCPS) for a child needing speech therapy--they have a speech therapist onsite. (Who knows, maybe all schools do--but I doubt it.) They're amazing overall for early childhood education.
Bridges (charter) might be another good bet--their mission is to serve special needs and non-SN kids, so while I don't know a ton about them, I'd imagine they'd have good resources on site.
