Check the FCAG Yahoo group, but I believe Lorton Station participated in AMC 8 in the past, and that is usually indicative of a decent Center school.

My son is in pool for this school and greatschools.com ratings don't look that great for LSES.
SOL scores, SES and many other factors are far below than many AAP centers in FCPS. Will that have an effect on my DC if he gets accepted in the AAP program?
