It's not a store that I normally go to, but JC Penney's truly had the largest selection when I looked two years ago. There was much greater variety than at Nordstrom's.

We found DD's dress at a neat children's clothing store in downtown Leesburg. Cannot recall the name but sure you can google.

We bought our DS his suit at Kohls. Great price!
My sister bought her DD's dress at JC Penney.

Nordstrom has lovely hc dresses. I've seem more department stores carry them. Let DD pick out her dress!

We went with knee length, which seemed to be just fine. Others had tea length but just as many had knee length or a little bit above. Lots of the dresses were very, very fancy. I'd err on the side of more fancy rather than plain, if the cost is the same.

Does anyone have any suggestions on good places to look for First Communion dresses in this area? Also, could anyone give me a general sense of how fancy the dresses tend to be? Do most girls go tea length and simple or do most girls do the big tulle skirted sparkly wedding dress look? Thanks in advance!
