PP here. Not clueless. If my employees don't like it they can certainly go elsewhere. But they know better.

This happens to me too!!

Aren't you worried you are missing important things? My DH doesn't hear well, and to top it off, has a hard time following a fast conversation. He's missing so much. I'd hate to be that clueless.

Yes. It's because the thoughts running through my head are very different than other peoples'. They are almost wholly preoccupied with logistics and don't think big picture very often.

You write very clearly so I kind of doubt it is you. I have some of the same issues at work. I often feel like I am speaking a different language when dealing with a few people there. It drives me nuts!

I thought this was a line from Seinfeld..."you're damn right it's me!"

If no one gets you here, consider it a compliment!

Is English a 2nd language for you and maybe there's some miscommunication?

I laugh at myself over this but when I speak people get confused looks on their faces. I even have a friend for years now, atleast 10 years now, but we just do not "click". I can be sharing a story or talking about something that we are doing and it is like she is lost or not following. I believe that I have narrowed it down to the way that I word things.
