Because it's not a pure meritocracy. Where you were born, your color, your accent, the wealth of your parents, all influence whether you are a have or a have not. And I hate that Republicans pretend otherwise.

I think Fiat did a great job in creating that commercial. I'm going to go out and buy an American, er Italian car right now!

Yes! It is so unfair to celebrate the potential of Americans to rise up from a challenge and win in the second half.

No way we can do that! Let's admit our defeat now!

OMG Republicans will complain about ANYTHING! You have a lot of nerve talking about fairness when your candidate for President thinks that corporations are people, and when the right wingers on the Supreme Court opened up the floodgates for companies to fund political candidates and causes. You should thank your lucky stars that they didn't run an ad that said "Republicans can suck it for trying to bury us".

Unfair??? Do you even hear yourselves talk?

That's actually correct, as their number one priority, according to Sen. Mitch McConnell, is making Obama a one-term president. Returning America to greatness is much further down the list, after beating Obama and giving voting rights to 6-week embryos.

Mitt Romney believes in the greatness of America! And his father ran American Motors.

Well, why shouldn't it be a pro-Obama ad, when it was his call to save the industry? He shouldn't be given credit for something he actually did do?
