I make the buffalo dip too-- it is always a winner.

And this will give me away because I made it last night for the Superbowl....

FOOTBALL DIP

Brown a roll of Jimmy Dean Hot
Drain
Mix in 1.5 "logs" of Philly Cream Cheese
Drain a can of rotel and mix that in too.

Stick in the oven for 20-25 minutes at 350.

The absolute best dip is the standard: 16oz sour cream; 1 packet Lipton onion soup mix (not the beef onion, and not the kosher versions). Add the soup mix a little bit at a time, stirring between additions. Chill for about an hour.

My Guacamole - two avocados, one roma tomato, half a bunch of cilantro, 1/4 red onion, 1/2 jalapeƱo, sea salt & garlic powder, squeeze of lime juice. Double and triple as needed.

Ranch dip - 1 Hidden Valley Ranch Packet, 1 package of cream cheese, 1/2 cup mayo, 1/2 cup sour cream

Low-fat Spicy dip - 1 plain Greek yogurt mixed with Tapatio sauce

My mom makes an artichoke dip that is wonderful. I need to get her recipe.

Oh my god!
Franks hot sauce buffalo dip, like crack. Everytime I make it people ask for the recipe.
But I don't use the canned chicken, I just boil some breasts

Me too, OP! Dips and sauces make everything better. I love chile con queso- brown some ground beef. Put it in a pot of melted Velveeta. Stir in a can or two of Rotel or a jar of salsa. My mom also made the seafood dip a PP mentioned- cream cheese spread on a platter, topped with cocktail sauce, and a bunch of chopped up shrimp. SO good. Also, nothing beats spinach/artichoke dip. I could live on that stuff.

Post some recipes guys!

I make a good, simple guacamole: avocado, small onion, fave salsa, lemon, sometimes a seeded chopped jalepeno pepper.

Would love to have the artichoke dip someone mentioned.

I make a mean hummus. And there is one I made ages ago with grated cheddar, mayo, and lots of horseradish - totally addictive.

oh, me too. Nearly any kind of dip makes me really happy, from the tostitos nacho cheese to a fancy crib dip at a restaurant. My favorite homemade dip is an artichoke parmesan dip that tastes great with wheat thins. My favorite restaurant dip is the spinach dip at Daily Grill - it has a high spinach-to-mayo ratio that makes it actually feel kind of healthy, and it's delicious.

I also love a nice simple guac. Mmmm, dip.

I'm right there with you. My mom used to make a shrimp dip that was cream cheese, onion, ketchup, and a can of little shrimps. Mush them all together and refrigerate. Yum.
