No. We write checks. Despite the annoying cheer leader SAHMs who have nothing better to do with their time.

If I don't like the person, yes. Like I'll make sure my daughter always asks this one really bitchy neighbor if she'd like to buy her Christmas Wrap, and I'll stand on the curb waving.

Public school. Grandparents, but that's it.

All the folks that say these suck - are you in private or public school?

No, never. I try to participate in these as little as possible. They suck.

OF course! If you can't ask an aunt or grandparent to buy GS cookies, you aren't really trying.

School things -- no. We generally avoid those and just give a donation to PTA.

Is this for private or public school? I asked my family and inlaws to donate recently and my family donated and my inlaws totally ignored the request. Three months later my sister-in-law asked me to donate to her Powder Puff team.

We don't participate at all. Don't encourage it!

Our first school fundraiser was so neighborhood specific, there was no reason for us to ask my parents 500 miles away.

But we absolutely, positively asked family members to buy Girl Scout cookies!

Once in a while we've asked grandparents. And we'll contribute, of course. That's about it. I find it very uncomfortable to ask friends, neighbors, relatives for fundraising.

Nope. The school wants me to but I do not. No way

If you ask family members to support your kids' fundraising activities, how do you go about it? Do you include everyone (aunts, uncles, great aunts and great uncles) or just grandparents?

There are so many fundraisers these days, between school and activities outside of school, that I wonder what is overkill. Especially when family members have their own kids likely involved in fundraising. Do you only ask those family membets who have asked for your prior support?
