Cucumber really is good. And lemon/lime.

Also, try water at different temperatures -- friend of mine who hates cold water found she really liked hot water with lemon (like tea-without-the-tea).

Can you drink decaf/herbal tea? I make hot raspberry tea and then dilute and ice it with a shot of cranberry juice.

would you like the water if it was sparkling? you could buy a soda stream and fill up the two plastic jugs to bring into the office. there are "essence" flavors you can drop into it to make it have a raspberry, lemon, lime, orange flavor, etc.

Agree with PPs about the containers. As for flavor, there are lots of natural ways to make drinking water enjoyable. Try slices of lemon, orange or lime. Cucumber slices are good too. I like to muddle fresh mint, a bit of fresh ginger and lime. It's very refreshing. Try apple slices too.

Plastic chemical leakage is more of an issue if you use a container made from it to store something long term or hot.

I bought a Rubbermaid bottle from Safeway. Just about everything is BPA free and labeled as such too.

Most plastic water bottles at Target will say BPA free. So pick up what you like.

I put a squirt if lemon juice in mine. No sugar. Just different enough to make water palatable.

How about getting one of the smaller Brita water pitchers for work and keep it at your desk or in the kitchen/refrigerator (you can get the smallest size for about $10-$15 at BBB). That way you don't have to pack and carry the water. If you want to carry it, maybe an aluminum bottle. Lots of selection at most stores like Target, Walmart, etc. As for flavoring it, try Crystal Light.

I hate hate hate drinking water. For a variety of reasons, I need to start drinking it. I know plastics are bad so I don't want to drink it from a bottle. We have a brita pitcher, but I need advice for what to buy to put the water in to take to work. Any specific bottle that BPA is not in? Preferably that are easy to access (like Target)? Also, I need something to flavor it or I won't actually drink much, or any. So many of the powders have artificial sweeteners so I don't want to use those. Help, please!
