Smith and Noble send someone out? I thought they were a catalog.

They have in-home design service. If you order enough, it's free. For smaller orders, there's a charge. I am doing a lot of windows, so no charge for the design service, & the installation is a flat fee of $119 for everything.

Are the draperies (fabric) made in the US or overseas?

I am in the process of working with them now & they have been great so far. The designer came to my house & spent a lot of time going over ideas with me, I received all the samples very quickly & placed my order last week. It was supposed to take 3-4 weeks for them to make everything (about 8 different items), but all but two of them have arrived already & look great based on my inspection of them. When the other 2 arrive, their installer will come & put everything up. I am really happy with everything I selected & can't wait to see it installed.

Agree that they make great quality product and have excellent customer service. I would recommend that you get fabric samples or do the in home consultation before you buy anything made with fabric. I was disappointed with teh fabric in some roman shades that I got - my fault for not getting samples first.

I've gotten both wood blinds and fabric roman shades and they've all been high quality.

I orderd some roman shades from them a few years ago and they turned out really nice.
