Irish inn in glen echo

I love et voila, but if you're hugely pregnant, the seating is really tight. Wait til post baby.

Another vote for the Tabard Inn. This is where I had my "baby shower"--six friends and me having brunch, then opening gifts in the lobby seating area. We had a great time and it worked out really well.

I know you said DC, but La Bergerie in Old Town is great for that.

I adore Et Voila, in the Palisades. If they are anything like I was when pregnant, I loved eating red meat and Et Voila has a great steak with peppercorn sauce. It's a little small, so you'd definitely want a reservation. Plus very near Sibley if one of them goes into labor.

Tabard Inn is a good suggestion. Blue Duck Tavern isn't really "intimate" but might be a good option.

We want to take two very pregnant friends out for a little treat on Saturday in anticipation of their baby #2s arriving anytime now! There will be six of us in the group. Can you recommend someplace where they will be comfortable & be able to find something yummy to eat? I am ideally looking for affordable, intimate, in the District,....any ideas? We are in Glover Park but will go anywhere for the right spot. Thanks!
