OP here - I know there are few slots and it's very competitive, but I just wanted to know if it was even possible. My son has speech and other delays and I just don't know if he'd be ready for Montessori environment until he's a bit older.

There are so few slots...it is really a waste of your time to even apply.

I intend to go to the upcoming Montessori information night, but does anyone happen to know whether kids have to start the program at age 3? Or is it ever possible for kids to begin at age 4? Would you need to apply when they are 3 year olds and then "defer" the admission or do you need to apply when they are 4 and hope that some kids have dropped out?
