If your child is in AAP (gifted program) or a language immersion program, they may be able to go to other schools (Sandburg/West Po). In this area, a good number of students also go to private schools. There are usually options to find the best fit for your child.

I went to Whitman and MVHS. Honestly, Whitman was a scary place, but I think that can be said of middle school in general.

If it makes you feel any better, I survived it just fine (went to a top college and graduated from a top law school -- only point that out to let you know there were no long term adverse effects).

I know one girl who is currently at Woodley Hills and I think the family is happy with the school for the most part.

We are considering a house that has these 2 schools (and then MVHS, but that is much farther off). I didn't find any reviews by doing a search here, so does anyone have info. Good, bad or ugly? Thanks in advance. DC's are 4 now, if that matters.
