Dont laugh - I am at the one who wants a Patagonia sweater and I do own both yoga pants and Uggs and I could conceivably wear them all at once for a "hike" around the neighborhood with the dog on a cold day.

Well, you can judge for the typo but the stretching is totally true and should be judgement-free.

This is how I feel about people who drive 3/4 ton 4WD tanks at 0.5 MPH over speed bumps.

At least Patagonia gives back to he community and is super conscious about avoiding sweatshop labor.

Patagonia clearly markets to people who are not using their products for extreme hiking. Patagonia is only slightly less ubiquitous than North Face for casual wear. Frankly it's nice stuff - I want one of their $200 down sweater things and I intend to wear it for walking the dog. I really wouldn't let it bother you so much.

Specifically, the Patagonia label. However she is proudly inactive and also does not go on any outdoor excursions that involve moving your body or harsh elements like rain. Or wind, snow, sun.
