I am watching The Two Fat Ladies on the Food Channel right now. I love these two and had no idea that Jennifer Paterson had passed away. I grew up in Northwest Washington State but my mom is from London. In 1986 & 1987 I had the pleasure of playing music at a huge venue in Northampton UK. I had the chance to meet a lot of my mom's side of the family and some lived very near to where Jennifer Paterson lived. I am a semi professional cook and do my own versions of some of their recipes. Again...I was so saddened to hear of Jennifer's passing.

As much of a shock as when Paula Deen developed diabetus.

I recall this from when I lived in the UK more than 10 years ago.

I watched that show when it was on PBS. Sadly, one of them died (over 10 years ago now).

Is anyone else enjoying these on cooking channel right now?
They are fantastic. Sadly I think they broke the mold after they made these two.
