Nonsense. Most human beings have an average processing speed and 60% of gifted children will test average or even slow in that category due to perfectionism. 3 1/2 year olds to 4 years olds also don't hold a pencil too well. My DC tested average in that category and got straight 9's 5 years later on the 3rd grade ERB, missing none in math or reading comprehension. If she had a learning disability related to processing speed, I'm sure she could not have scored in top 4 % of test takers on the ERB ( a timed test). And, that was with absolutely no kumon or tutoring nonsense.
