freeze without frosting, frost at the last minute possibel (morning of party)
bake and freeze in generic cup liners and then put the party ones on after you frost (so they're totally clean)
search you tube for frosting videos, i'm sure they're there. Practice on a cutting board with your bag/tip (or ziplock bag with a hole cut out!), scraping and putting back in the bag until you're ready. Or do really simple frosting with a knife and find some themed candies/sprinkles to decorate

Thanks everyone! OP here - how do I defrost them? Do I need to put them in the fridge overnight or just put them in the countertop? And how long does it take to defrost? If I have a party Sunday morning, should I take them out of the freezer on Saturday night or Sunday early morning (6am or so)?
Do I wait to defrost before decorating, or should I do it while they are still frozen? Here is a link of what I want to make:
