That sounds complicated, OP.

Tie ribbons to everything to help you keep count. Pack Benedryl if it makes your kids sleepy.

Wishing you patience and good humor for the flight! Best of luck on your re-location.

Get two vans - have them take the seats out of one for the luggage, everyone else rides in the other van.

18:27: we're actually moving overseas so these pieces of luggage are all we'll have until our other stuff arrives. Otherwise we're with you on the less is best for vacations.

18:31 -- I'll give them a call to see if they can take just one family and car seats. Thanks!

Reserve a van from Super shuttle.

10 piece of luggage!!?!??!!??!

How long will you be on vacation? Any chance of shipping it ahead of time?

My family of 6 (2 adults, 4 kids) usually travels with 2 suit cases (1 large, 1 medium--or sometimes just a duffle bag or carryon size bag instead of the medium)...total! This is for trips ranging from 10-14 days.

These guys have car seats and are pretty reasonable.

Yes, we can order two mini-vans from red top and have done so before but not with this much luggage. Even with less luggage two mini vans was very tight. So I was wondering if anyone has any particular service they've used with a larger van.

Surely you could order two taxis from Red Top? It seems incredible that you could not.

Hello fellow travelers with family! Help me figure out how to do this trip:

Leaving from Dulles.
Two kids in car seats.
Don't want to leave a car in long term parking.
10 pieces of luggage
One folding stroller
One snap and go
Four carry-ons and two diaper bags.

What passenger service can help us? I've tried calling Red Top but it seems to be a challenge getting a vehicle (or two) large enough.

Thanks!
