Agree with PP comments -- it's a great program for 3's. My child has been very happy there.

We have a child in the 3s classroom, which started with two new teachers last summer. Both have been fabulous, though we just learned that one will leave this summer. The replacement 3s teacher is someone the kids know well (has been a substitute there), so I think that transition will be easy. The 4s (i.e. pre-K) class teachers will be the same next year as this year. I don't know them as well, since my kid isn't in that class, but when I see them before and after school, they also seem great. I believe most of our 3s are staying at Leland next year to go the pre-K/4s room. Many of the kids will ultimately go on to Rosemary Hills, which is one of the reasons we like Leland so much.

Any feedback from current Wonders Leland parents?

Could any current Wonders Leland parents comment on how the year has been? I know there was a lot of turnover for the school year. Are the current 3s parents happy enough to be staying for the 4s next year?

I'm happy to hear you're pleased. Do you go full day or until 3 pm? Do many of the kids end up at Rosemary Hills? That is where we will go to public school. We were wondering what the day is like after 3 pm for the full day kids?

We have a child in the pre-k room this year and the teachers are terrific. The teacher turnover is very unsettling, but we have always been very happy with the teaching staff they have assembled each year. In my opinion, the center is still one of the best in the area.

I'm not sure what your comment means. Are you not happy at Leland Center?

We heard that there was a complete turnover of the teachers for this school year. We're looking at doing the full day, 4 year old program starting in September. Any feedback from people with children in the current 3 or 4 year classes would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks
