Norwood's address is Bethesda - how is "being in Bethesda" a stretch? It's the truth!

Norwood is about 3 miles form Potomac Village. It's Bethesda.

I like Norwood a lot too. I also really like NPS and St. Patrick's. WES is a great school, but it didn't seem to have the warmth of the other three (although you should visit for yourself, you might have a different impression). I've heard nothing but great things about Bullis, but it doesn't start until 3rd grade so I have not visited.

If you live near Norwood, NPS and St. Pat's may be a bit far for you. WES is in Bethesda.

National Presbyterian School. It's Nursery (age 3) - 6th grade. Lovely place.

Norwood is really in Potomac. It's a stretch to call it Bethesda. I agree with the PP who said it is not similar to Oneness, Green Acres or Lowell, which are progressive schools.

I think some of the k-12 schools might have more in common, i.e. St. Andrews, sidwell, bullis, Potomac school. Washington episcopal and sheridan are k-8 but lack the pretty campus. Lowell has a nice campus, as does green acres. Sheridan and green acres and Lowell are more progressive than Norwood though, which is why I mentioned some of the k-12 schools with more structure.

Lowell? Can't tell if you're limiting search to Bethesda, or just noting that Norwood is in Bethesda.

If you want K-8, Bethesda area, independent (not religious), the only other one I can think of is Oneness Family School - but not sure how similar the two are.

...what other schools might I like? I do prefer the K-8 for DC, so I'm trying to stick to this set.
