PP here. Rings of this size and larger are not uncommon in BigLaw - assuming you are talking about among the lawyers. I would be slightly surprised if someone just out of law school came in with a ring that size, but that is also contextual. If the resume showed private school/all Ivy, I would be less surprised.
The Birkin bags are what surpise me, and yes I do see them, especially among BigLaw lawyers in NY.
