My son loves his slide text phone. Sadly although he is 12 he has no one to contact on it but me or DH. He opened and closed it all day long yesterday and all day today. He has no idea aout he features on it and doesn't care.

My 3 y/o with SPD loves to jump. So my mother AND my husband's aunt bought him a trampoline. I think he only voluntarily got down when it was time to eat or he was thirsty. It was hilarious, but I'm glad he's got one for home and one for grandma's house.

My kids are not special needs but one of their favorite presents was a box of tape, tape dispensers, and post it notes. They went crazy with it.

My kids found a roll of painters tape once and covered the kitchen floor making race tracks for their cars.

Painters tape is great to make artwok on the wall or floor I will do it w/ my students

All he wanted to do was categorize his transportation stickers. Just like on earth, planes in the air, trucks then cars. Then boats at the bottom where the water would be.

How funny -- mine wanted duct tape -- his big brother found some with skulls and it's NEON. He has not unwrapped anything else -- it's the BEST christmas ever!

I could have stopped there. When ASD DS was going through is stocking, before opening a single gift under the tree, he opened a package of painters tape and that was it, he was in heaven. That's all he wanted to play with. It took some effort to get him to put it down and open his gifts under the tree.
