Where is Philadelphia Mike's located? Is there more than one location?

Agree about Continental in Kensington--it's just ok but Manny's in Kensington is really good.

I would go with Philadephia Mike's as the best I have had in the area though.

I'll second Broadway pizza in Cabin John. Continental Pizza in Kensington is ok.

Actually, that's what they say-that the water is different. I grew up in Philly and they really do have different bread there-especially when it comes to Italian bakeries.

I read that this is gone already, changing it over to another Hellburger I think? But he's incorporated the steak and cheese into Rays the 3rd restaurant.

Yup - it is gone already. And while it is very tasty, it is no Philly cheesesteak.

I personally like Philadelphia Mike's - I believe they ship the bread down. Not sure why they can't make similar bread down here. Something in the water?

OP here-have tried Santuccis and Broadway-both good. Anymore suggestions? (And thanks for the ones above).

If this has been asked before, sue me-can anyone recommend a good cheesesteak (or steak and cheese as it is known in this area)? Maybe not as good as in Philly but good. Particularly interested in Rockville or SS area but all suggestions welcome.
