Vyvanse runs out at Bethesda cvs's in my experience.

I read something about how the government says it isn't their fault. They gave the OK to the drugmakers and there is speculation that the drugmakers might be doing this to increase the cost or something. Not my theory, but I read it somewhere.

Drug companies are only allowed to produce a certain amount of each stimulant medication each year. When they hit the quota, they can't produce any more. If there is no generic form, it can be impossible to find. Even with generic, it can be tough. I'm the Adderol poster. This is the first year we've run into this, but also the first year we're using Adderol. We haven't had any problem finding Focalin or Vyvanse.

OP here. I called every Giant listed in MoCo and not a single one had some. This is ridiculous.

There's a shortage of Ritalin right now - not sure why, but in 7 years of filling prescriptions for various family members this has never happened before (trying to be reassuring here).

We found Adderol at Shopper's Food Warehouse when everyplace was out. The first one we went to was out, but they checked their computer and directed us to a store that had it in stock. M

Not the OP, but I've tried Target, Walgreens, CVS and none of them have it in brand or generic.

Have you tried Giant? Although I would have gone to some of the places PP suggested first, too. Good luck.
