Oh yes, Flower north of Franklin is definitely Indian Spring. There is a small group of houses just south of Franklin that I think may be considered Indian Spring (or billed that way by realtors), but are zoned for different schools. The location you are looking is an easy walk to the YMCA. Also, during the huge snowstorms in recent years, Franklin and Flower seem to get plowed before the side streets, maybe because of access to the Adventist hospital down Flower in Takoma Park.

The house I'm looking is actually on Flower, north of Franklin, so it should be technically Indian Spring, correct? Are homes in Indian Spring actually zones to different schools? It doesn't seem to be a very big area.

Great neighborhood with a very active sigh or hood association. So lots of socializing at the YMCA which is in the neighborhood. There are smaller side streets of Franklin and Flower. Make sure the school the house is zoned for is Highand View and not New Hampshire Estates. Some realtors may fudge a bit on the Indian Spring label when the house is technically not in the neighborhood or zoned for the same school.

I've heard some people say that Indian Spring is nice. When I look up the schools seems that they're okay? We're looking to buy our first home and we're expecting to have our first baby next year. Would anyone recommend this neighborhood?

Is there a neighborhood association with events for adults and children? We saw a house that is very close to Franklin and Flower so it seems to be bigger streets there...
