Thanks for all the responses, still undecided and only have one hour to make up my mind!

We have one at Thanksgiving time every year. We look forward to it and is always good. Not inexpensive but one guest sends it as a gift each year.

Expensive. I've had a mixed experience, in one case it was fabulous. In another, the strawberries were melted and gross. However, when I called the store that delivered them and complained, they quickly came out with another box of strawberries.

I agree that if you are using as an actual part of brunch, just do a fruit platter. I think the edible is just more of a cute thing to send in lieu of flowers and not a menu item.

They are nice. We've been sent a few. Most recently my father in law sent us one that was supposed to feed 30 people. My family of five, mostly my three kids finished it off in less than an hour. Granted, they are really fruit lovers, but it seemed like such a waste. If you have people who will eat one or two pieces of fruit each, then I can see doing it for the ease and presentaion. But if you have a family of fruit bats, I would just cut up fruit regularly and save the money.

I've never purchased one but I've had them at different people's houses. They are cute and the fruit is fresh, although depending on the time of year it isn not necessarily the sweetest. It is a very nice addition to any table.

I am considering getting one to use for a Christmas Brunch. I checked out the website and they seem expensive but cute. Any feedback from anyone who has bought one before?
