Honestly, nothing's better than Lashblast for mascara.

I like Bobbi Brown for gel eyeliner and Clinique Cremeshapers or Urban Decaay 24/7s for pencil eyeliner

Mascara I use loreal double extend, it's the tube kind. No smudges ever.

Eyeliner I use clinique, great staying power.

I like Maybelines eyeliner. I tried a few from Sephora and didn't like them as much.

I love love love Christian Dior waterproof liner!!! It stats all day and night long. I also use urban decay primer and my shadow never moves. My mascara is waterproof estee lauder.

My friend's ways comment that my makeup is flawless, never comes off. Ever!

I love, love, love a mascara that used to be called Fiberwig sold at Sephora, now called d.j.v. beautenizer. My skin tends to have everything smudge and smear and this is really the first one that didn't make me look like a racoon at the end of the day.

Mascara: L'Oreal Voluminous Million Lashes
Eyeliner: Prestige Kohl

These are both drugstore finds. Everything else I use is from the department store. But mascara is supposed to be replaced every 3 months, so it's not worth shelling out $25/tube. I like the kohl eyeliner, but I use an eyeliner sealer, so I can't attest to its staying power without that help. In general though, the waxier the pencil, the longer-wearing it will be. But the waxiness sometimes means that the color is not as concentrated. Liquid definitely stays on, if you like the look.

Whatever you do, don't use bare minearls mascara. I got a free sample of it and tried it, and by the time I got to work everyone was asking me if I had a black eye! Went to teh bathroom and saw that the mascara was flaking off and created a huge dark shadow under each eye.

I wore DiorShow mascara for a while, but these days I wear Lash Blast and like it just as much.

I really liked Bobbi Brown extreme party mascara - got some as a sample with other make up and it made a huge difference.

eyeliner- MAC.. for me nothing else comes close

mascara- clinique

Will only use urban decay eyeliner pencil or stila liquid eye liner. Mascara, I use whatever. Mainly make up for ever mascara though.

Diorshow mascara and waterproof eyeliner - my favorite and so worth the money.

I swear by Urban Decay eye liner.

eyeliner: I use Maybelline Stiletto waterproof liquid eyeliner.

mascara: can't say I'm thrilled with anything. Lash Blast has been my daily mascara for a while, but it isn't anything special.

What mascara and eyeliner would you recommend that don't smudge or fade after a few hours of wear. I'm willing to pay more if the quality difference is really worth it. If there's not much difference in quality I'll be quite happy with a drugstore brand.
