I would agree Amiccis is terrible. Thanks for reviving this thread though-- we were hoping to make a Port Discovery/Little Italy trip this weekend.

Or you could go to Tomato Palace in Columbia- its connected to Clyde's, very kid friendly and the food is SO SO GOOD. Definitely not an "authentic" Italian vibe, but once you eat the Shrimp and Scallop Penne or gorgonzola salad you won't care.

with children I would recommend Gia's, but call and see if they take reservations as they are in a smallish rowhouse. I agree on Amici's, although the gnocchi is pretty awesome. I haven't been to Sabatino's in years, but they have the space. None of the little italy restaurants are really good italian, but they are fun with groups...

We went to Amicci's with our two boys (6 and 4) last summer. While it was extremely child friendly, the food was not great.

Little Italy is right near the Inner Harbor and easy to find. With kids I'd recommend Sabatino's (bookmaker salad!) or Amicci's. If the kids are adventurous eaters and patient you will get a first class meal at Della Notte or la scala. Enjoy Baltimore!

Meeting some friends from out of the country for a holiday get together in Baltimore for a few house. We were thinking Italian would be a good option, 4 adults and 5 kids. Any recommendations?
