Usually speech is part of the neuropsych exam. Ask the school for additional info on the kinds of tests and their purpose.

OP: We consulted with a developmental pediatrician but not finished with the eval yet. Will give him all the school testing once finished.

Our DC is being evaluated by the school for possible ASD. So far they are doing an educational psych and OT eval. Waiting for reports. Should we also request a speech eval? We're sure he has problems with receptive and pragmatic speech. Not familiar at all with the IEP process. TIA!
