OP here again. I probably won't have time to make it. Can someone recommend a place where I can get some delicious foccacia, preferably metro accessible?

Great ideas! But I was thinking more about it today and might try to do some sort of foccacia.

Homemade crackers. Ina Garten has a good recipe for Blue Cheese and Walnut crackers, but if the recipient doesn't like strong flavors, a cheddar cracker would be good too.

Beer bread?
Homemade yeast bread?
Savory scones

Most banana bread recipes you can cut the sugar quite a bit, but the bananas are still sweet.

What would be a good homemade baked goods gift for the holidays for someone who doesn't like sweets? I was thinking about banana bread but don't think it would taste good if I cut the sugar in half or substituted something like apple sauce.
