OP here - Just picked up my candy canes this morning for the pretzels! My mom always does this with hers.

And where do you work?

According to someone on another thread, I can get a job in an afternoon -- so I could well be your co-worker next week! And FYI, I totally support the pretzels dipped in chocolate rolled in crushed candy cane idea.

Better yet, crush some of the candy canes and press it onto the chocolate covered pretzels. Yum!

OP here. Thanks for the ideas! I may add some candy canes in there too in order to fill the bag out a bit.

Go for 3-4 and then wrap them in tissue paper to help "pad" the pretzels and make the bag look more full.

I would say 3-4, but I think it depends on the size of the bag. You don't want the bag to look too empty.

I think the main thing is making sure there seem to be enough in each of the bags.

I'm going to make chocolate covered pretzel rods for holiday gifts for my coworkers and put them in cellophane gift bags. Any thoughts on how many to put in each bag?

Thanks!
