PYP is a philosophy. Although it's under IBO, it's not IB. It will, however, prepare students for IB (should they test in at RMHS) in the sense that it focuses on interdisciplinary connections, critical thinking and discourse.

There is no admissions process. Everyone who attends the school participates. It is not a magnet program open to those who do not live in the zoned area. The only exception to that would be the children who attend the Chinese Immersion magnet contained in the school. They also get the IB/PYP curriculum.
