Subject: Summer camp for elementary kids gifted in science
CTY is very expensive, but it's 3 weeks of 8-4 and it's great. My daughter loved every minute of it.

Er, Fairfax Collegiate might work. JHU-CTY has camps (VERY expensive) and one-day family sessions like an water analysis of the Chesapeake, fossil excavation dig etc. Some local universities offer programs as well but those are usually for the older kids. Ask your DC's teacher esp. if they are aware of exceptional ability.
