EasySpirit occasionally has cuter shoes; I think they've been trying to get their shoes out of the nursing home ghetto. I got a cute pair of blue suede shoes there in double wide. You will likely have to sort through many un-cute shoes.

I feel your pain as an 8WW who ends up in size 10 cheap os from Target. Seriously, you'd think wide feet we incompatible with fashion life.

Look at footsmart.

Click on "womens" and do a search on "wide." You'll see three options appear: Wide, Double Wide, and Very Very Wide.

There aren't many fashionable shoes in the Very Very Wide category, but te Dounble Wide offers over 10 pages of options, some are quite nice.

Check out Comfort One Shoes. They have lots of locations in the area and usually have some stuff in WW. Some of the stuff is very much for old ladies, but they have some acceptable shoes as well. They have excellent customer service and will work with you to find shoes.

11.5W or 12W here - I have had some luck at the Nordstrom Rack large size sales they have during the year. You can ask to be added to their notification list before the sales occur.

I, too, have found Munro and Clarks to work well for me. I have also had some good finds with Cole Haan but those do not fit consistently for me.

Another 11W here. I also order from Aerosoles which carries a lot of wides online/catalog. Naturalizer also has wides on-line.

I'm also 11W. Sometimes I can find something at DSW, but that's pretty rare. Zappos is where I get almost all of my shoes. These days, I wear a lot of Clarks. They don't make all of their shoes in wide, but when they do, they're really comfortable. Some of them are total nun shoes, but some aren't bad. I wouldn't say they're fashionable, but they're cute enough.

I have 11 wide feet. Zappos is the only way to go.

I am a 5.5 W, which is also very difficult. I have found one brand that I am in love with...Dansko. They have much more than just clogs now. They are a staple in my closet for comfort and cuteness.

I also sympathize -- I am a 7.5WW and the only thing I can do is order online. Easy Spirit sometimes has shoes on their website that you can't find at Zappos, but Zappos is really the best.

I like Munro American -- super comfortable. They are kind of clunky looking but in a good way, in some models.

I don't have any advice other than Zappos, but I sympathize . For some reason, people don't think wide shoes are allowed to be cute. I have had wide feet since I first started wearing shoes. The only shoes I wore for MANY years were keds.

Hi, I have size 7WW feet and going into a regular shoe store torments me because nothing fits. Is there anyone else out there with very wide feet ? Are there any stores around here that have fashionable wide width shoes? (Please don't say Nordstrom, because their shoes aren't wide enough. They always try to fit me a size up.) Aside from Zappos and ShoeMall, do you have any sources for shoes that are comfortable and fashionable? Any particular brands you can recommend? Thanks!
