Lately it seems like even healthy, whole grain carbs make me feel so tired after a meal. Is this normal? I don't know if it's a new thing or if I've just never made the correlation before.
Two days ago I had a big but healthy salad for lunch along with a piece of whole wheat pita bread. I was exhausted afterward. Today I ate the same salad with just a couple of crackers, no bread, and felt fine.
I know it's common to feel sleepy after a meal, maybe I am just becoming more aware of my body and reading too much into it.
