Redd-X in Bethesda will just buy them from you. They'll tell you how much they'll give you, and you can take it or leave it. I really appreciate the closure and not having to worry about them again. They definitely take high end stuff.

Are there any consignment stores that will give the consignors (1) at least 50% of the price sold, and (2) a chance to pick up items not sold? Chic Envy in Fairfax does, but I'm looking for something in or closer to the city. I have some relatively high-end stuff that I never use (e.g., a Prada bag, Dolce & Gabbana boots), but if they don't sell, I'd rather get them back than have it donated. Yeah, I know. . . Bah, humbug!
