Thanks ladies (and gentlemen).

I won't be all dairy free, but I know new-momhood enough to know that it is nice to have options.

Dairy-free frittata, fruit salad, hummus and veggies, and pulled pork (homage to the South) it is.

And some nice dairy-licious red velvet cupcakes for me!

Just a PSA from a dairy-free mama. First of all, you are such a kind friend to think of adjusting the menu this way. I guarantee all your friends will be thrilled to walk into a whole room full of food they can eat.

Second, just make sure to double-check the ingredients list on anything store-bought -- English muffins, for example, have milk in them. Other muffins might be made with butter. Even many margarines, which people naturally think of as a dairy-free sub for butter, actually contain some milk. WF sells a reasonably good df cream cheese, if you want to throw some bagels into the mix.

Sausage, ham and bacon are also fine.

dairy free smoothies, bisquick mix is dairy free so I add cocoa powder and make chocolate waffles. Hash browns are good too.

Eggs are fine - they are not dairy. You could do a tuna or chicken salad. Muffins.

I'm hosting a brunch next weekend with several moms who are BFing and have gone dairy free. I get no milk, no cheese, no butter. Are eggs ok? I'm going to make a dairy-free frittata... any other brunch suggestions besides a fruit salad?
