I think depending on what you put on them, is either cool or stupid/cheesy.

i.e. if you have a 95 camaro, and your plate says 95camaro = stupid!

Lemme guess:

Personally, I have them but think if the plate has anything at all with what you do for a living, your company, your cars make or model, then it is kind of ridiculous. FWIW, I am an attorney (and also have other advanced degrees) and would never advertise what I do for a living, or my education. Its not why I went to school all those years, to put it on a license plate. Silly. I'm not that easily impressed, so I guess I am hoping others are not either? Come to think of it, there are so few themes I like. Telling me how many kids you have or what your hobbies/sports are? Eh. Doesn't really do it for me either.

What is your license plate about?

I have one. I couldn't remember the random assortment of numbers on my minivan plate, and when everywhere I go, all I see is a sea of blue minivans...it's really not for anyone else.

Some are really bad but others are cute. If it takes me more than one minute to "get it", I feel like it was a waste of money. In reality, personalized plates are really just for everyone else to look at - you can't see your own tags while you are driving.

Get something funny!

Can be fun/cute/etc, but I don't know if I'd want to be easily recognized that way.

Cheesy or cool?

I want one for my new car, DH is laughing out loud about this.

Do you have one? What does it say?
